RAMAYANRAMAYAN involves the story of brave, courageous, composed and benevolent “SHRI RAM”, who had two sons Love and Khush. He was the son of brave and religious king “Dashrath”. Dashrath, king of beautiful city Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh had three queens Kaushaliya, sumitra, and kakaiyi. The one thing which made king worried was not having son. And for the sake of having son he and his queens ignited the fire and undergo prayers with help of “guru”. And after that they were bestowed with sons. Kaushaliya gave birth to Ram, Kaikaiyi to Bharat, and Sumitra to Laxman and Shatrugan. They all went to receive the education from guru Vashishth and Ram being the powerful was devoted with secret powers and powerful arrow. He was allowed to use this powerful arrow to save the world only if it becomes necessary. Raja(king) Janak, king of Mithila and father of Sita declared ones that her daughter will get married to the powerful person who would able to lift the heavy and powerful bow and arrow of Shivji. And Shri Ram lifted the arrow and got married to Sita. The kings, and the people who all were gathered there were surprised, shocked and praised Shri Ram. At the same time, sita’s younger sister Urmilla got married to Laxman and her cousin to Bharat.
Now, since king Dashrath realized that he is approaching towards old age. So, he decided to deliver all his empire and duties of Ayodhya to his eldest son Shri Ram. By hearing the news kakaiyi was filled with anger and jealousy as she wanted Bharat to be the king of Ayodhya. Kakaiyi asked, Raja Dhashrath to fulfill her two wishes which he owes her. First, she wanted Bharat to be the king of Ayodhya. Second, was to send Ram for 14 years to vanvaas(living in jungle). Though, Raja Dashrath was despaired and overwhelmed completely, but he accepted the wishes of his wife. Shri Ram accepted to go to van(jungle)vaas(living) and with him Sita and younger brother Laxman accompanied him. After few days Raja(king) Dashrath was demised as he couldn’t hold the anguish of his son and his last word was “Shri Ram”. At this point of time Bharat and Shatrugan were not in the Ayodhya. So, message was send to them to come back soon. The moment they came back and saw their father lying lifeless and knowing that Ram, sita, Laxman had gone to vanvaas leaving him to be the king of Ayodhya. This left him with pangs and he was annoyed on his mother as how she can do this to my elder brothers. Bharat with his army set out his journey to van(jungle) to met his brothers. He met and greeted them with tender love. He also asked them to come back to Ayodhya but Shri Ram refused to do so and answered him that he is ought to follow his duty and words given by him to his father and his return is merely impossible.RAMAYAN
In the jungles they spent very simple life and annihilated devils (rakshas) with their powers. The real story begins when Sita was kidnapped by devil “Ravan”. Though Ravan was full of powers, with ten faces, knew many mantras(powers) and bestowed with blessing of many Gods especially shivji.RAMAYAN But he made one big mistake of kidnapping Sita for which he was devastated. Hanuman, true follower of Shri Ram plays indispensable role in searching Sita. He with the help of Vibhishan, brother of Ravan but follower of Ram, was able to reach “Lanka” where Ravan with his followers were living. Within the moment Hanuman burnt the whole “Lanka” with his tail. Everyone in the Lanka was shocked and astonished to see the chaos he made in couple of minutes.
Though, Ravan was incessantly told by his wife “Mandodhari” and his brother “Kumbhkaran”, who was full of powers, he slept for six years and rest of the time ate unlimited food at a time, that he should return Sita to prohibit his death. When Shri Ram found no other way, he decided for war. But the struggle in there way was that they had to cross the sea to reach the earth of Lanka. For this, they prayed to God of river. And due to his suggestion and power of vanar (monkey) sena (army), they started throwing huge stones into the sea which floated on it and a path was made. They attacked lanka where Ravan resided. And with the order of Ravan his army of devils also retaliated. Firstly, Kumbhkaran and Meghnath also called Indrajeet were killed. After this Ravan became suspicious and directly came to combat with Shri Ram. Whenever Ravan’s head was hitted with an arrow, it joined again and again because Ravan had ten faces.
At this time Vibhishan, brother of Ravan came to Shri Ram and told him that hitting Ravan in his stomach could only take away his life as it was filled with water and by hitting on it, all water will dry up and he will fell down on earth.RAMAYAN
Shri Ram aroused his arrow and hitted Ravan in his stomach and he fell down on the earth. Whole of the army felt scared and the war ended.

According, to Hindu mythology the annihilation of “Ravan” was written.
Which is why, Kakaiyi asked Bharat to be the King of Ayodhya. Though she was bliss with the decision of Ram being the king, but her head turned due to Manthra, an old lady who took care of kakaiyi and Manthra’s head turned due to the people with full-fledged powers and had immortal knowledge because they wanted complete destruction of devils from the earth.

I always wanted to know about Ram and this story. Can u pls tell that was Ram a king alone, or a prophet also? Is this book considered as a religious scripture or a human work?

Ramayana is similar to the great Illiad by Homer. Besides, it seems copy paste of the Illiad.

A fabricated story of Ram’s Hiroism.

Is there somthing new in this story? Why are u narrating the age-old story of Ram and Ramayana, while Ramanad sagar, VHP, and all those stupid people who just think of religion all the time, are stuffed in India to make most out of it.

There is not something new in the story but there are many people who still don’t know and eager to know and, knowing about our ethics and past is not thinking about religion all the time. I myself enjoy the modernism but still hooked up to know about Ramayan and Mahabharat.
if u know, good and if u don’t know, pity!
